Speedy, excellent HVAC service! Highly recommended!
This guy really knows what he’s doing. Everything you want in a contractor - timely, knowledgeable, professional, and reasonable. And on top of that, very friendly guy. He’s the guy you’d want on call to take care of any mechanicals in your home.
Fast and efficient. GREAT price for repairs done. Look no further... this is the place to call for your HVAC needs.
I have called several companies and all of them refused to even look at my heat pump stating I needed to purchase a new one. Mark who is extremely knowledgeable spotted the freon leak within 10 seconds of opening the unit and repaired my system. It now works better than it ever has. I will only use Heat NW in the future and will recommend him to friends and family.
Here's the long and short of it. Mark and Heat NW are the best of the best. Great price, the best service, prompt service. He even came out on Father's Day for an emergency. We will never use anybody else.
Mark came out and serviced my 14 year old Rheem Heat Pump Unit. He knew immediately what the issue was and fixed it promptly. He also added additional tips to prevent future problems and recommended a modification to our exiting system that made sense. The charge to fix my system was reasonable.
Sorry for the length of this review - however, I want to be thorough and give Heat NW / Mark the credit he deserves! I had no knowledge of Heat NW or Mark prior to selecting him to work on my home. I needed a complete HVAC remodel and spent about 1 year researching the remodel from every angle myself. I am a life-long and capable DIY person, and after researching HVAC for 1 year, it was very obvious that HVAC is not a DIY project. With that being said, the knowledge I had gained over my 1 year of research still went to use: I was able to weed out contractors who I would not want working on my home. I was searching for a very good contractor who deserved my money and was going to do high quality work. After having several contractors out to evaluate my home's HVAC situation, Mark was hands down the most squared away individuals I encountered. I may have lacked the knowledge to perform the project completely on my own, but I knew enough information to discern who was a detail oriented HVAC tradesmen and who wasn't. Mark spent 2 hours looking through my house and deciding what options would be best for the house / me, while also specifically addressing challenges associated with the project (I was already aware of the challenges, but Mark was able to quickly tell me everything I had spent 1 year researching). He was the only contractor who spent a decent amount of time with me: he climbed in the attic, actually wore a dust mask, and took measurements (he didn't even know if I was going to select him for the job or not at this point). I learned quickly that Mark was very knowledgable and thorough. My biggest caution to others out there is: you will run into a lot of HVAC contractors who operate under "rules of thumb" - HVAC is NOT a place where "rule of thumbs" should be used. There is a lot of math, calculating, and measuring that goes into pre-planning an HVAC project. After selecting him for the job, it was very obvious through the working phases and final product that Mark is phenomenal at what he does. I cannot sing enough of his praises. Mark also started his career in the trades as a pipe fitter - he is very talented in this area as well. This means mark can plumb any gas lines you may need himself, which saves time having to coordinate with someone else to do this kind of work. Mark is also someone who cares enough to point out other issues that he may notice about a home, even if they are not related to HVAC. This is an invaluable quality, because homeowners spend nearly no time in their attic or underneath their house - so when Mark observes ANY issue, he will still go out of his way to point out the problem and tell you what needs to be done to fix it. Lastly, Mark has some really great apprentices working for him. It is nice to see a small business owner passing on quality knowledge to the next generation of trade workers. Thanks HeatNW!
Heat NW installed a new Heating and Cooling system in our home. They not only installed the new system but also found and fixed many other problems with our home. Mark of Heat NW is very thorough and is concerned with doing everything the right way. I feel that we have the most energy efficient system available today, and that it was installed correctly the first time. It means a lot when the inspector sees our system then wants Heat NW to install their own system.
Extraordinary Thoroughness and Attention to Detail.
Michael came out to do routine maintenance on our Heat/AC system very promptly (Within a few days) after we called. He was very thorough and did the most meticulous job I have ever seen. His extensive knowledge and attention to detail give me confidence that our system has a great chance to last for many years to come. I was very impressed that he will come back in the fall and check the furnace as part of his routine service. Mike took the time to explain all the details and we were so impressed that we have signed up for yearly repeat service! I highly recommend Heat N.W. for all your HVAC needs!
Michael at HeatNW performed maintenance service on our heater and AC. He was incredibly thorough and took time to show me the before and after for what he worked on. He was very thorough and spent a lot of time doing a great job. He paid attention to the details. And, he was good to work with. I would highly recommend him.
Very pleased with the service we received. Called to have our heating and air conditioning serviced. Very prompt service. Came out the next day. Spent about two hours cleaning the units and servicing them. Was very friendly and and arrived on time. Cleaned the air conditioner inside and out, looked like new! Very reasonably priced. He will be back in the fall to recheck and get the furnace ready for winter.
High quality service and very knowledgable.
Mark has been to fix two separate issues with our AC and does a great job. He's very responsive, knows his stuff, explains things thoroughly, efficiently fixes the problem and is very friendly.
Professional and Knowledgable
I had a wonderful experience in dealing with Heat NW. I had issues with both my heat pump and my furnace. Mark came out and he was great. Got right in and found the problem and had it fixed in no time. I went about a year without heating and A/C due to lack of maintenance and not calling anyone out to repair my system. The furnace didn't work because there was so much dirt and dust inside it that it ended up shorting out the components, the airflow was restricted due to a long overdue filter which caused the heat pump to ice over. After Mark fixed the problem I had Heat NW do a maintenance on my system. They cleaned out my furnace, removed the blower and cleaned it up too (at an additional cost but well worth it) it was so dirty! Has been way less dusty in my house since that was done which is a happy side effect. Then they took apart my heat pump and cleaned the coil which was also very dirty. Since then my system has been running in tip top shape through a pretty rough summer. I would Highly recommend Heat NW to anyone who needs their system repaired, maintained or replaced, they were excellent!
